Ba Lu Gu

What a present for New Year 2011. Had a ba lu gu while i am helping my hubby to take water from toilet. Knock onto the wall and OUCH!!! Sigh....my forehead hurts!! 

Japan Flight booked

I will be going for my honeymoon in Feb 2011. So excited....Just booked my flight last night. Will be travelling by JAL. Total damage $2443.20 for 2 pax. We will be going free & Easy...so planning the itinerary, which way to go and hotels to stay is very important. 

Before going Japan, will also be going Phuket for a mini honeymoon. Together with Bryan and his wife. Hope won't spend much as i wanna have more spending $$ in Japan. LOL.

 

Back from Bintan

Back from Bintan yesterday afternoon. 

Depart on friday 10th Dec 2010 at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal.

Board ferry at 0950hrs and journey took 45mins to 1hr.

Reach there and proceed to Golf House. Waited for our golf set to reach and start playing. Weather was good, cloudy and not sunny so was a good day to play. Caddy was good and she taught me some stroke...haahaa...

Then, finally after 18 holes, went back to check in our room. That was 3 plus. Timing just nice.

Then, check in, went to our room and bathe!! Room was nice but quite far from the lobby. Boiled water and ate our yummy cup noodle and rest.

Went out later to have a walk and had buffet dinner which was very expensive. Total $100for 2 pax after all GST and svc charge. Sigh...so ex...then back to room and NUA again.

 11th Dec 2010

Woke up in the morning and took breakfast. Reach there and they told us closing in 5 mins. So grab as many food as we can. Haahaa...then head down to the beach and started picking stones.

Same as before, we took the shell for keepsake.

I woke hubby up telling him i wanna go swimming pool. No choice but to wake up and we went for a short swim and had drinks and chicken wings at the pool bar. Yummy! Then went off to the beach and found out cannot swim. So stay near the shore and before we headed back to our room, hubby use his foot and scope out one giant lala. whhahahaa....

Bintan sure have big lala. Keekee....of cos we bring it back to our room and boiled it. Change a few time of boiling water before the Lala surrender.

That night, we ordered room service which was cheaper. Their grilled half spring chicken was nice! I ate the most. Staying in beach resort is a way to become fat. Nothing to do, eat, sleep, eat sleep.

12th Dec 2010

Time to check out and head back to SIN. Before that we had breakfast again. Earlier this time round as hubby work up super early. He had enough rest during this trip and was very happy. Glad that hubby can rest well during this trip.

Reach SIN and went to Katong for laksa , then off to Seletar to see the aquairum shop.

Hubby into plants and shrimps. First time after a trip he is still so energetic.

Then, head down to Serangoon north to meet Bryan & Kelly for dinner and head back home to rest.

 

Bintan Trip

Will be going Bintan tomorrow. 3D2N stay at bintan lagoon resort. Been there once  few years ago and had been going Batam becouse of the cheap massage. But tired of going there so wanna go back Bintan again. 

Departure tomorrow at 9.50am at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal. Will took around an hour to reach. Then off to play 18 holes then check in to room. Hope tomorrow's weather is cooling...keekee

Later going for high tea with Da Jie, Er Jie and Clara @ Cookies Museum. 2nd time having high tea. 

Then later after work tonight will be having bbq session. 

Seems that me and hubby can't went home straight after work except monday....sigh!

2nd day without him. Starting to miss him....waited for his call last night and no call from him. 

Now working in office, hope time will pass quickly ....hubby coming back on Sunday evening...will be going to fetch him! 

 

 

Eve of Deepavali

It's thursday! Eve of Deepavali. Tomorrow going for facial with hubby at Suntec since it's a holiday.

Might be meeting Bryan for discussion on itinerary.

Today is Bryan's Big Day. (ROM). Will be attending with hubby.

Things to do today:

1. Order buffet for Hubby side

2. Finalize seating arrangement - To submit on Friday for Joanna

3. Buy PJ/Bedsheet/slipper if possbile

4. Find a pplace to eat oysters! (My craving)

Visit to Dentist

Going to dentist today with hubby for polishing...finally after 1 year. 

Will be going Marina Square Raffles Dental at 2pm.

If time allows will be buying bedsheet too. 

Tired...only slept for 3 hrs...now like a walking zombie.

Need to order buffet for both sides. Hubby busy doing seating arrangement too. 

Both of us busy like a beeezzz...

 

Counting down - 11 days

Another 11 days, i will be wearing my gown, marrying to the one i love! Getting abit excited as time passed...

Had been busy with the invitation cards and now seating arrangement which is the most headache part. Had to finalize by Friday.

Went to color my hair, trim, and treatment at Jeric Salon yesterday with Qian Hui. Had my fringe cut short. 

This week will have 2 appointments: Dental at Raffles Dental and Facial at Citispa. Will also be going down to Dreamweavers to choose my Ang Bao Box.

Suddenly feeling time is too short....how i wish a day is more than 24hrs so i got more time to finish my stuff. 

Jie Mei's dress will be light pink and i'm still looking for wrist corsages. Rental of car hubby still deciding to rent or not.

I think that should be almost done.

Woke up today for Guo Da Li.

Prepared the following:

1. Pin Jin

2. Pork Trotters Can

3. 2 bottles of liquor

4. 2 pairs of dragon & phoenix candle

5. Red packet for (bringing me up) 

6. Oranges

7. Cakes to be distributed to my relatives

 

Things to return by my mum:

1. 2 bottles of orange juice

2. Return of Pin Jin

3. Red packets for the good luck lady - Er Jie accompany Yixian to my place.

4. Oranges

5. A pair of  Dragon candles

6. Red packets for Yixian's dad & mum to buy shoes

7. Return 2 boxes of cakes

 Things from my mum to me and Yixian:

1. Wedding teaset

2. Pair of bowls for dumpling eating

3. Lamps

4. Quit cover

 When over to get the cakes before heading to my place.

Ordered the cakes from dcelebration from Dreamweavers. Taste nice.

Had our photo on the box too.

Reach my place and i went up 1st follow by Yixian and Er Jie & Ellie.

The whole process took awhile not too long and time for us to head back home. Lunch and head out again to distribute the invitation cards.

Tiring days...Fell asleep and woke up around 7pm in the evening. Dinner and head down to clementi to buy food for the shrimp.

Then down to Kallang wanting to watch movie in the car but the sound is too soft to be heard.

So Went over to 6 pipes to look for Yuxing and Ah Seng. No catch...was cold day and it started drizzling for awhile so decided to head back home and rest.

 

 

 

 

 

In the office today so do up unfinished work...wedding card send for printing after my artwork done but in the end...disaster...the toner came off...so no choice have to send for printers to print. Haiz...all hard work went down the drain. Waiting for hubby to finished his game and off went for dinner.

Things to do tomorrow:

1. Go down to dreamweavers if possible for cake order

2. Liase with wedding card printer

3. Print out mailling labels for wedding cards

4. i also dunno what else...

GV Gold Class

Reach there and got our tickets, went into the GV Gold class lounge. Order food and head down to the theatre. We were seated in the 2nd row, 3rd column from left to right.

It's Friday....this week is a long week....too many things crop up in office....machines keep having problem. 

Xerox having car rally today so all sales participating....left me and TM in the office for the rest of the day.... will be going orchard to do some shopping...maybe Qianhui is coming along...also need to wait for Derrick to finished the car rally thingy. Poor us...have to spend the Friday alone..

Going Sephora to see see look look....my lancome foundation and serum was found broken. Er jie told me my photo frame drop and broke it...sianz...

Now also counting down to my wedding day...another 1 month and 12 days....things to do:

Not feeling well

Not been feeling well recently...think too heaty... having nose block and sore throat! Slight cough...sigh....hate it.

 

Happy Birthday Hubby!

Today is my hubby 29th Birthday. Specially made him a Rocher bouquet. My 1st attempt so quite ugly...that is why i only made 5 out of 16th. Haahaa...but hope he will like it. The remaining 11 he can eat them.

Will be going home tonight for dinner. Think his family is going to celebrate his birthday for him.

Then will be off meeting his friends....

Food Tasting Day

Will be going to Carlton Hotel for my food tasting this evening at 7.30pm.

Wondering will my dad be going...i don't know what happened to him. Mum give me a call saying he might not be going last night. I almost collapsed. Keep crying and crying till hubby come looking for me in the bathroom. I am thinking what is wrong with him...why can't i have a happy family. He already never attend my ROM in 2006 and now he is not even going for the food tasting. What is wrong? 

Mum didn't told me what happened too as i never ask. I don't wanna know...i told myself i wanna hold my gatecrash in a hotel and not at home anymore. MIL told me have to hold it at home...i was telling her, what's the point when he don't even care? I told her that my dad can don't attend my wedding and i am fine with it. I'm already prepared and i don't want him to spoil my day.

Really a sad day for me last night...went drinking with hubby and Spencer last night. They tried cheering me up and i got abit drunk.

Why can't i prepare for my wedding happily like others? Why is my family not supportive? Why can't they spare a thought for me and so so fucking selfish? I tried to forget the bad memories of my dad not attending my ROM which took me quite awhile and forgive him. Now he is trying to find trouble for me. Why don't he spared me???

Summary for the week

Hair Treatment

Hubby got to do some entertainment so i got to go home by  train. Was so tired....went to JP and decided to treat my hair...

Twister by monsoon was having promotion so tried their scalp and hair treat -$129. 

Overall result not that good..still felt abit dry for my hair as compaired to jantzen salon treatment although it's cheaper and also using the same products.

Now at home still waiting for hubby to come home...poor hubby. Hard on u le...sayang sayang! 

Day 4 without Hubby

Hubby coming back tonight, planned to pick him up from airport but am not feeling well. Also never sleep well...

I will still try to go but see if driving anot.

Spend my whole day out with mum. Hopping that she can get something for herself but nothing. Sigh....tough for her to get herself clothes....

Went around Orchard, from ion - wisma - Taka - paragon - but nothing...

Wen out alone to bugis, shop around then to marina square then suntec,

Bought myself a top and for mum her sandal. Received call from hubby...felt so happy! Tomorrow is the day i can get to see him! Yuppie!! First time hoping for monday to come. Haahaa...

Day 1 without Hubby

Day 1:

Wake up hubby in the morning as his flight is in the morning at 8.50am.

Continue to sleep....such a nice weather to sleep that i am late for work. Haahaa...

Today taking train and will be staying over at my place. Planning to bring mum and dad out for some shopping.

Reach office and alone. Now noon time...just taken my lunch and waiting to knock off. 

Don't have plan so dunno where to go after work. Sianz....tired...nice weather to sleep.

Wonder where is hubby now....think he should have checked in hotel room and maybe sleeping. Haahaa..

Hope there is Wifi in the hotel room and hope to see him online soon.

Missing

Hubby will be flying off to Xiamen with Ronald tomorrow, will only be coming back next monday.

Think i will be missing him alot. Will be spending my lonely day at my own place. Wanted to bring mum and dad out to do some shopping for their clothes to be worn on my wedding day....

A Visit to Singapore Footcare Centre

Had appointment at Singapore Footcare Centre (Jurong Medical Centre) today at 2pm. 

Wanting to have my nail treated as i am not sure when it will recover.

Amazing no need to wait.....Dr checked my nail and ask questions...then he proposed to either had it cut off or filed.

Thought for awhile i i choose to had it cut off as i wanted it to recover faster.

Now having ugly toe...yuck!!!!! 

He prescribe me with 2 type of medication to apply and to be purchase over at any pharmacy.

1. Lamisil - $19.95

2. Nail Lacquer - $65

3. Consultation fees - $29.35 after discount using UOB card.

Thought the fee might be more expensive as he assist to cut off my nails. Haahaa..

Now back in office.

Why am i.......

Why am i always feeling so moody recently....is it because of the lack of companionship from hubby? I am seeking attention but didn't get it...

Hubby is busy working....after work then play games or watch movie....me leh?? Always say he needs time for himself but once married i think personal time will be reduced not to Zero but become lesser....is he selfish or i am selfish??
I don't have much friends and now i'm only helping him out at his work place....nothing much for me to do too...am i dispensable??????

What is a wife for.....to command you to do this and that when he needs you to....then leaving you alone when he got nothing to expect from you?? I get to talk to him only when he got nothing to do and wanting me to do something for him, only when i am moody then i draw attention from him.
Complaining to him will only worsen things...and ended being unresonable.....not putting myself in his Shoe!

Happy 10 Years 7 months Anniversary!

10 Years 7 months....not long nor short. Amazing i am still so in love with hubby! This is really love...

Going to Batam tonight after work with hubby, Irene and her hubby. Hotel not yet confirm which one...Irene is doing all the booking. Whahaha....But she told me sure have place to sleep.

Going for Tea Tree Spa @ Holiday Inn. Suppose to be good....never try before so going to try it out tomorrow. Price not cheap leh so the service better be good!!!

Now blogging, waiting for hubby to come back office.

Kerastase

Bought Kerastase  products.. wanting to improve my hair condition as it is getting worse.

Decided to give it a try as i went for treatment and the salon actually use this products on my hair.

Received a call from Enice from Cangai Wedding saying album arrive and is ready for collection.
Went down together with hubby and view through the album.

Still find it quite weird for me to dress in gowns. Haahaa...

Happy 10 years 6 months Anniversary

It's our anniversary today....no longer got sms from hubby...i no sms him he wont sms me...sigh...

Bought a bag from Ronbinson. Tocco....Happy...but still thinking of the Fendi bag..hubby say not "SHI JI' to buy that.

It's hard for me to like a bag leh...sigh....but ya abit costly....sigh...

Wonderful dinner at Kuriya Penthouse!

As usual, woke up and head to office...then received a sms from hubby saying lets go for italian food tonight but i wasn't that into Italian food...then he suggested Kuriya which i wanted to go...but was very expensive....

I hesitated and yet he insist on bring me there....after work, off we went for our dinner. It's located at 12th floor of Orchard Central, previously at Shaw House. 

Reach destination and head to the restaurant. Was served at the counter, advise to look at the menu before we proceed in. Had preprepared to spend $300 plus on the meal but it exceed. It's really a fine dining place...off we were brought to our seating area. The servers, waitress were all well spoken.

We were the 1st customer on 1st June 2010. Haahaa...Then, ordered our meals. Shun Course & Saika Umeshu for Hubby and Kiwami Course for me. Total is 8 course dinner.

Were serve with appetizer, we had uni, live one okay...it taste so fantastic...even hubby dare to eat...keekee...then also have japanese abalone....mine is more expensive so have those more expensive dishes. Even there is half of the rock fish (Kiki). Then, Wagu beef...i think i will not be able to accept other ordinary steak again. It just taste good....the texture the juicy juice...also not forgetting the tuna belly...indeed it's different from normal tuna you eat in the market....it's oily...haahaahaa....

After that, went over to the drinking area for our desserts...guess what, they took out a fruits basket with fruits (Melon, pineapple, apple, grapes, cherry, apricot), and some mousse desserts for us to choose....it's free flow lor...you can eat as much as your stomach can hold. We choose melon of course which sell so expensive at the supermarket.... also cherry, apricot, kiwi, and japan grapes. 

All were flown from Japan and indeed it taste different from local fruits....especially the melon and grapes and cherry...while waiting for the chef to cut the fruits, they actually employed one magician to perform to every customer while waiting for food to be served. I can really say they took extra care to customer there....we were like King & Queen. Haahaa

Then, i asked hubby what is the time and it's 10.30pm. Gosh...we had been there for 3 hours plus...haahaa....but really the ambient is so nice that you won't wanna get up from your seat. 

The service there i can say is Thump up. 

Total cost : $480.22 damage.

Day 7 & 8 in Taipei

Last 2 days in Tapei, missing the weather there...as usual, woke up late and went for walk at Wu Fen Pu. Shopping spree for me...haahaa...hubby only bought 3 items for the whole trip...pathetic...

Bought clothes for nieces and nothing for nephew. Haahaa..

Then, last night in Taipei so we went to cure our craving for Large fried chicken and Oyster mee sua.. and ZZzzz...

Last day in Taipei, woke up earlier. Wanted to go Zhong Xiao Xin Shen Street to hunt for my food call Bumkuchen. While strolling there, went in this Dandy Cafe and had our lunch. Ordered beef stew for myself and i forgotten what hubby ordered. Anyway....the food served was delicious....very  nice...heehee...then off we went to the shop called Yuan Le. Went in and the friendly staff told us the cake i wanted was sold out early in the morning within an hr. -_-||

Is the cake really that nice....preorder also have to wait till 3rd June...whahahaha....that is crazy! No choice...only too photo of the shop and saw how the chef make the cake.

No choice....still got abit of time so went to the Park just opposite our hotel and took a stroll there....enjoying the cold breeze and hubby was testing and trying out his LX3 camera. 

Time too go.....took a cab to the bus stop where we alighted on the 1st day to go airport.

Kissing goodbye to taipei....i will miss you!!!

Day 6 in Taipei

Need to drop by at Cangai to choose our photo....Appointment at 1.30pm. Seated down and was guided hot to use their computer. Then, off we started to choose...total 221 photos then, need to shrink down to 50 photos. Hard sia. Although i would like to have soft copy for more photo but hubby dun wan. so suck thump! 

Think also a waste of $$ ba....

Finally chosen the photo which were nicer and also need to choose the frames and album. 

Then off we went to hunt for food again. Hungry.. 

Day 4 & 5 in Taipei

Woke up late noon and off went for a walk...

Day 4

Took MRT to Wu Fen Pu. Reach there about 2 plus 3. Shop shop shop...Then, met up with Jack - Yihao Kor's friend.

He brought us to eat Ru Rou Fan which tasted yummy. Then off we walk about at the nearby night market. It's a small one then Jack got to go back office for meeting and bid us goodbye.

He dropped us at Xi Meng Ting and both of us shop around.....nothing much there....abit sian...

Went to relax at a Tea House which have live band. Then off we went back to Hotel.

Day 5

Woke up, decided to go Bei Tou and Dand Sui.

Weather was cool for these 2 days...great for Singaporean who hate the hot weather in Singapore. Hubby has been wearing short sleeves. Haahaa...but wore 2 instead of one top. Heehee....He sure enjoyed the cool weather and me too. 

Reach Bei Tou....saw hot spring and was crowded. Haahaa....but the one we had imagine to be. 

Never stayed there for long as we reach there around 4 plus. Haahaa...sleep late! 

Saw an old woman selling Tea Leave eggs. What caught our eyes was the big goose eggs. So hubby decided to try one..cost TWD 60. Egg white abit harder and more yolk. Haahaa...

Then head down to Starbuck for drinks. Seated at opened area and i ordered green tea cream (My Fav) and hubby order coffee...then i regreated...too cold and i am drinking cold drink which makes me more cold. No choice. 

Head for the next destination Dan Sui. Reach there and walk around, hubby playing with his camera trying to take nice  night view but it's just too complicated. Stroll along the old street buying stuff and food. Everyday just eat shop eat shop....going to grow fat!!! 

Ask around how to get to Yu Ren Man Tou and either take ferry (15mins) bus or walk (30mins) so we choose to walk. In the end..we walk walk walk still no sight. Arghh...tired.. and finally decided to cab there...we were thinking lucky we never walk there..if not will took us an hr....reach there and took picture of the bridge...saw people drawing portrait so we also opt for it. TWD200 for one person. Seated and let the artist draw and last quite long...thought will be fast. I choose the wedding template and was not very satisfied. No choice still have to pay...both hubby and me were freezing sia...Then, off cab down to Shiling night market again for the fried large chicken, Mian Sian, cheese potato and milk tea. Back to hotel to eat our supper.

Day 3 In Taipei

Finally today is the day.....woke up early in the morning for our wedding shoot. 

Stroll to Cangai after having our not filing breakfast (egg, ham, bacon). Then along the way step into a small shop for sandwich. We have to keep our stomach full to have the energy.

Reach Cangai and started my make up session while hubby sit at a side waiting for me. 

Finally done with mine, hubby also do apply abit of make up. Next, head to change my wedding gown. Tried all the gown to see if there is a need for amendment. Lucky all gowns were okay. Then change to my white gown first.

Journey to the waterfall for few shots. Waited for awhile as there were 2 brides ahead of us. Finally our turn. Walk up and started posing here and there. Photographer-Kairi & assistant - Ah Chen, MUA - JiaQi. We were asked to look here and there, look at your hand, your gown, look behind alot of things. Chin forward abit, rise abit here and there. Was feeling quite tense up. Weather was abit hot and was perspiring. 

Second destination - Hei Shen Lin, air was much cooler and we saw alot of brides having their photoshoot there too. 

Third destination, green. I dun really know where is it but before that, i need to change gown and style my hair which my MUA did her job. And my first time to change gown outside using a tent provided by them. FUN! The weather change rapidly and i am so cold but have to endure the cold breeze.

Forth destination, North Coast  (Bei Hai An). Change again to my red gown which i dun expect myself to choose this color. Wind blowing stronger getting colder.

Fifth destination, near taipei 101, wanted to have a shot of 101 and LOVE. Change to another gown and thats was the last gown. Then, also along the streets outside the shopping malls. Were the center of attraction sia...keekee....Hubby looks shag as he didn't sleep early the night before. 

Final destination, back to studio for indoor photo taking. 

All of the crew were tired. Haahaa....MUA reapply and touch up my make up for the indoor shots.

Then, end the day! Yuppie!!!

Off we change to our casual attire again and look for food then head back to hotel and ZZzzzzzzzzz..

 

Day 1 in Taipei

Flight to Taipei SQ878 at 12.20pm but was delayed due to system issue. Waited for an hour to have it fixed. Was serve drinks while waiting. Good service. Haahaa...

During journey, watch 2 movies. Had lunch which was not that fantastic. Doze off while watching the second movie and finally reach Taoyuan Airport.

Get our luggage and board a express bus to Taipei. Journey took 30mins to 45 mins. Depends on traffic condition.

Next board a taxi after alighting at Fu Hua Street. Reach hotel and unpack, took a short bath and off we went to hunt for food! We were both hungry.

Decided to shop at Shilin Night Market. Took MRT where me and hubby got confused by the human traffic. Hahaa...

Finally reach our destination and off shopping and eating. Weather was cooling....

Day 2 in Taipei

Woke up, appointment with Cangai Wedding at 2pm.

Both me and hubby take a stroll there and had our lunch at errmm......one of the stall nearby.

Reach there, started picking my gowns. Pick myself one white gown, black, blue and red. Love at 1st sight for the white and black gown. Hubby also had 2 black and one white blazer.

Next, meet up with the photographer and discuss our photoshoot itinerary.

After the discussion, we went to had a walk at Puo Ai lu to look for Camera. Finally decided to buy the panasonic LX3. Hubby was so happy with his new toy. =)

Then walk down to XiMengTin to do some shopping. Went searching for this Dan Huang Zu but it's sold out. 

Then, off we head home to rest early for photoshoot the next day.

Flight to Taipei Booked

Yuppie....finally booked flight to Taipei. 

Will be flying SQ sia... second time flying SQ. Missed the food, the drinks, the spacious seats and of cos TV! 

Haahaa...Next, going to place another $1400 to Cangai Wedding before the photoshoot and also hotel booking.

Bought this amazing face primer from Lancome.

I have oily T zone and always appeared oily after few hours of make up.
